Most people do find public speaking a challenge. Repetitively telling yourself you hate it, is not constructive. Rather, prepare your topic and speech well, target your talk to the target audience, observe those who do well to emulate their techniques, keep practising instead of avoiding opportunities to speak publically, and tell yourself you are working on improving will be more constructive.
